A downloadable game for Windows

Free Simmy was made for the GMTK Game Jam 2023. The theme was 'roles reversed' so I made a game where you play as a sentient, free-willed Sim and try to escape God's wrath by doing ridiculous tasks. Be careful not to make God too suspicious or you'll be met with death.

Controls:
Walk around using WASD or the left joystick on a controller.
Look around using a mouse or the right joystick.
Sprint by using Left Shift or by pressing down on the left joystick.
Jump by pressing space or the bottom button on a controller.
Interact with objects by pressing 'E' or by pressing the right button on a controller.
Pause by pressing 'P' or 'ESC' or special right on a controller.

DISCLAIMER:
This was my first game jam and I unfortunately over scoped. A lot of the features in my initial concept are not in the game yet. This means that the game does not have a narrative and players are free to roam around the map. Please enjoy the game anyway and I am planning on continuing to work on this project in the future. Keep an eye on the itch page for any updates!

Roadmap:
In future updates, I would be looking to add animations for every task, different camera angles while performing tasks, more functionality for each task (example: being able to turn the lights on/off), polishing the task system, adding audio and visual feedback and finally, adding a quest system for tasks that 'God' tells you to complete.
